

Vending Machine Business Due Diligence Checklist
The following due diligence checklist provides an organized way to learn about a vending machine company's assets, liabilities, contracts, potential problems, and risks. This is a partial list. Refer to our Due Diligence Checklist for Business Acquisitions and Mergers for additional information:
- Determine whether each machine has a permit to operate;
- Review all service records for each machine;
- Determine whether money is owed on any specific machine and any lease terms;
- Determine whether traveling to the machines for servicing would be cost-effective not;
- Determine whether each machine is operating properly, including any cooling systems and selection buttons;
- Check your competition and compare;
- Check whether the machines make change properly;
- Obtain sales data for each machine;
- Check with the owner of each location to determine whether any issues or problems exist;
- Determine whether cost effective local repair services available.
